Broken Plate Mosaics at the JCC

In addition to our current roster of classes, beginning later this month we will offer Broken Plate Mosaics at the Dave and Mary Alper JCC in Miami.

Plates, mugs, cups, and tile will be transformed into original one-of-a kind mosaic masterpieces. Mosaicist, Julie Galvin Weilbacher will lead discussions on materials, adhesives, base items, tools, and grouting techniques. Choose to create an 8" flower pot or 10" x 10" wall panel.

This class will be offered 3 times between January - May 2007. Visit the JCC website to find out more information and to register. There is a 7-person maximum for each class. Students should bring an old hand towel to each class.
