Broken Plate Mosaics class in February 2008
Break a plate, mug, or tile and use the pieces to create art! In this class we’ll transform everyday breakable items into original one–of–a–kind mosaic masterpieces. By the time we’re done you won’t believe they were once used in the kitchen!
Students can choose to create either an 8" flower pot or 8" x 12" wall panel. You’ll learn about materials, adhesives, base items, tools, and grouting techniques. And one of the best things about the class is there’s a limit of 7 students...so this is a really nice, intimate class.
Join us for the first class offering in 2008 of Broken Plate Mosaics at the Dave & Mary Alper JCC in Miami. This 4–session class will be held February 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 6:30–8:30pm. And you don’t have to be a member to register for the class. The Alper JCC is located at 11155 SW 112th Avenue, Miami, FL 33176. For more information and to register please visit the JCC website or call 305–271–9000, x264. Students should bring an old hand towel to each class.
